Crysis 3

Crysis 3 reviewAnother Playstation block buster is Crysis. Crysis series are capturing a great space to the heart of the fans. Crysis 3 is an undisputed best looking game of all time.

Twenty years after an alien invasion, deadly epidemic, mass exodus and probable house price plunge, mega corporation CELL have encased New York in a 'Liberty Dome' - think a cross between Kew Gardens and The Simpson's Movie. This nature-reclaimed city is prime habitat for CryEngine 3. Gaming's best deer prance down gaming's best streets over tangled swathes of gaming's best flora. Gaming's best sun breaks between blades of gaming's best grass and shimmers in pools of gaming's best water - where you'll also find gaming's best toads.

Before it all stands an entirely otherworldly feat of engineering: Nanosuit 2.0. This time, Prophet's the man in the tin can, leader of Raptor Team who, in the first game, were sent to rescue a group of scientists on Lingshan islands. In Crysis 2, he stepped outside to let newbie Alcatraz Nano-up, but now he's back, and with an even more formidable arsenal. On one side, balls-to-the-Wall-Street action incorporates armour defence boosts, car-flipping melee and the superhuman strength to grab and throw both men and mailboxes. On the other, stealth play revolves around invisibility cloaks, heat vision and the hacking of turrets, mines and doors.

Mostly you'll mix and match. One level surrounding a towering research base can be surveyed at distance by power-leaping to vantage points and tagging enemies using your telescopic visor. This is where the compound bow comes in, a fearsome bit of retractable kit that's always on you, able to be loaded up with arrows electric (they fry fools in water), explosive, and thermite-tipped. Its string can be tightened, which decreases drawback time but lessens arrow damage, and it's the only weapon in the game you can fire without having your cloak instantly dissipate. In theory, of course, you could choose to forgo weaponry altogether and sneak in through vents, right under CELL soliders' boots. There's always more than one option

inFAMOUS: Second Son for PS4-The Story

Delsin Rowe is the star of Second Son, and you probably know someone like him: A 24 year-old who is absolutely convinced he’s destined for greatness; though so far that greatness has managed to elude him. He grew up just outside Seattle, where his great – if accidental – calling comes crashing into his life. After rescuing occupants from a fiery bus wreck, he discovers that he suddenly has the ability to direct, manipulate and even transform into… Smoke. Could he have absorbed this power from one of the passengers he pulled from the wreckage?

Setting the scene: It’s been seven years since the Cole McGrath episodes and the world has clearly changed. Anyone showing signs of being a so-called “bio-terrorist” is immediately handed over to the Department of Unified Protection (DUP) — a government agency created to ensure there is never a repeat of the catastrophic events of Empire City and New Marais. So Delsin, who has never been particularly respectful of authority, finds himself caught in the DUP dragnet – And decides he’s not going to go quietly.

Along the way, Delsin is going to ask questions that are not just relevant to the world of Second Son – but to the world we all live in today. A world where we are often instructed to surrender our freedoms to help improve our security. Ben Franklin once wrote “Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.” Is he right?

As you play Second Son, you’ll explore lots of Seattle’s familiar landmarks. As with all games in this series, the path the gameplay and story take will depend on the decisions you make along the way. Of course, we are creating all these characters and locations at a remarkable level of detail – made possible by PS4. In fact, this trailer was produced in-house using our game engine – can you tell we’re having fun with the new GPU, tools, and our new VFX system?

Final Fantasy XIV PS4

Final Fantasy XIV is an eye flashing world for all the game fans. It is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game, and like many in the genre it requires a subscription to play the game, which is done via the Square Enix Account Management System. Players first create and customise a character, being able to select from various pre-selected options including race, gender, facial features, and job type. After selecting a character name and server to play on, they are placed into the game world, where they are free to partake in the game's story, explore the landscape, fight various monsters, complete quests and missions, and interact with other players.

Square has released a developer diary video for Final Fantasy XIV: A Real Reborn. Producer and director Naoki Yoshida and community man Toshio Murouchi show off the MMO's new gamepad controls, giving you an idea of how the game may work when it arrives on PS3.
Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is essentially version 2.0 of Final Fantasy XIV Online. The original game transitioned to the alpha version of A Realm Reborn in November, with the finished product scheduled for a simultaneous release on PS3 and PC in 2013.

The Story
Comprised of Aldenard, the westernmost of the Three Great Continents, and its surrounding islands, the realm of Eorzea has been the cradle of several unique civilizations throughout history. Towering mountains dominate the north, their peaks forever lashed with icy winds; to the south, a bleak expanse of unforgiving desert holds sway. Yet these inhospitable lands hold irresistible lure for man and monster alike, for wide and deep flow the currents of aether, and rich are the veins of power-infused crystal. In this harsh though vibrant region, the people of Eorzea have carved out their histories—a cycle of prosperous Astral and disastrous Umbral eras.

The First Umbral Era brought an end to the age of the gods, and there have been six such eras of calamity since the First Astral Era ushered in the age of man. Each of the umbral catastrophes has, in turn, borne the characteristics of one of the six elements. With all the elements now represented, it was believed the current Astral Era would last into eternity. But in the seventh verse of the Divine Chronicles, Mezaya Thousand Eyes prophesized a less fortunate fate. The "senary sun," or Sixth Astral Era, would indeed end, and the "septenary moon," or Seventh Umbral Era, would cast its shadow upon the land.

Now the land stands poised to enter another age of decline, a period known as the Seventh Umbral Era. On the eastern border, the Garlean Empire masses its troops for invasion, while the native beastmen tribes summon their deities, the otherworldly primals. The threats facing Eorzea will not easily be overcome.

Well play the game and enjoy the whole new world of Final Fantasy XIV.

inFamous Second Son is been announced for Playstation 4 by Sucker Punch. It showed off the game at today's PlayStation Meeting, where Sony revealed its new console. The demo showed a heavily-militarised city where citizens are closely monitored. However people have started developing superpowers and revolting against big brother.

Killzone Shadow Fall

Killzone Shadow Fall Screenshot We all are so excited about the release of Plastation 4. One of the most action game Killzone. Killzone Shadow Fall has been announced for PS4. This really an wonderful news for all the Killzone fans.

Guerrilla Games managing director Hermen Hulst confirmed that the studio is working a new entry in the flagship PlayStation FPS series for Sony's newly announced console.

Shadow Fall takes places in the near future, when mankind has colonised planets in search of resources, and a battle rages between two factions, the people of Helghan and the people of Vektar.
"This conflict is about much more than resources," Hulst said. "The Helghast are fighting for their right to exist, while the Vektars want to protect their way of life.

"The Helghast have evolved and claimed genetic superiority, they are brutal and relentless in pursuit of their so-called justice against the Vektars.

"The story draws parallels to Cold War Berlin, with two factions living side by side divided by a vast wall. This is a story about the loss of home, the search of new home, and the lengths to which people go to defend it."

Dualshock 4

Sony has revealed the PlayStation 4's new DualShock 4 controller, as well as the new, double-camera PlayStation 4 Eye peripheral announced during tonight's event.

Six-axis controls return in the DualShock 4, as do the familiar array of face/shoulder buttons and direction inputs. New additions to the unit include a PlayStation Vita-esque touch pad on the front of the device, which is capacitive and can register two points of contact at a time. The pad itself can also be clicked as a button, from the sound of the press release tucked away after the break. Start and Select buttons have had their functionality reassigned to a new "Options" button.

Meanwhile, a "Share" button allows the player to access the PlayStation 4's wealth of social options, which include live-streaming through services such as Ustream and the sharing of videos on social networks. Additionally, an LED "light bar" on top of the controller illuminates to communicate various information to players, such as a character's current health status, for instance.

That light bar also communicates with the PlayStation 4 Eye, the latest version of Sony's storied camera peripheral. This time around, the Eye features two cameras capable of a maximum resolution of 1280 x 800 each, in addition to a four-channel array of microphones. The cameras have the ability to "
cut out the image of the player from the background, or to grasp players' position in front and behind," which sounds rather familiar if you ask us. Users can use the Eye to log into their PlayStation 4 via facial recognition, in addition to the PlayStation Move implementations you'd expect from the device point.

Playstation 4 Announcement

PlayStation 4 Screenshot
Deep down, Destiny, Kill-Zone, Dead or Alive, Final Fantasy, Knack, Watch dogs, Diablo III all the names of the most popular games of playstation. Playstation is the most powerful platform of Sony Computer entertainment. Sony has officially a announced Playstation 4, which will be available "holiday 2013".

The president and group CEO of  Sony Computer Entertainment Andrew House revealed the name of Sony's next-gen console at the Hammerstein Ballroom at Manhattan Center Studios in New York.

The executive said Sony's "most powerful platform ever" will allow "worlds to come alive with greater fidelity and intensity then ever before".

He also said that "ease of access regardless of location or device has been a priority" in the system's development". Our vision for the future is consumer centric and developer inspired," he added, stressing that Sony is keen to enable developers to utilize "new business models that enable more flexibility including episodic and free-to-play".

It contains 8GB  of unified memory. PS4 houses a highly enhanced PC GPU containing a unified array of 18 compute units, which collectively generate 1.84 Teraflops of processing power that can freely be applied to graphics, simulation tasks, or some mixture of the two.

It is also centered around a powerful custom chip that contains eight x86-64 cores and a state of the art graphics processor. You can find this out in full PS4 System Spaces.

Dual Shock 4 the PS4 controller, which will include many of the recently rumored features. It will offer enhanced rumble and reduced latency, a touchpad, a headphone jack and a new Share button, which will allow players to record gameplay or screenshots and share them instantly. "Our goal is to make the sharing of video on PS4 as popular as the sharing of screenshots is today," he said. PS4 will also support cross-game chat. The new pad was developed in tandem with the next iteration of Sony's PS Eye camera, dubbed PlayStation 4 Eye.

Sony also said PS4 radically reduces the lag time between players and their content. The system utilises a "suspend mode" which keeps the console in a low power state while preserving game sessions. "The time it takes today to boot a console and load a saved game will be a thing of the past," according to the platform holder.

Users will also be able to boot applications including a web browser when playing PS4 games, while the system will enable titles to be downloaded or updated in the background, or in stand-by mode. Digital titles will be playable while they're downloading too, with only a "fraction" of data required to start a session.
Dave Perry, founder of cloud gaming platform Gaikai, which Sony acquired for $380 million last year, was up next on stage. "What we're creating is the fastest, most powerful gaming network in the world," he said.
"With Gaikai and the PlayStation Store, you'll be able to instantly experience games for free [and only pay for the full experience if you want to]."

PlayStation cloud services will be rolled out in phases, with the ultimate goal being to give players access to all of their favourite PSone, PS2 and PS3 titles.
Perry said PS4 will let other players look over your shoulder virtually as you're playing and, if you allow them to, post comments directly to your screen. Friends will even be able to take over your controller virtually and help you complete a section you can't beat yourself.

Sony also said that Vita, along with iOS and Android devices, will be capable of acting as second screens for PS4. The new system will allow Vita users to "seamlessly pull PS4 titles from their living room TVs" and play them on the portable over Wi-Fi, while a PlayStation app will enable players to supplement their console gaming experience by - for example - displaying maps or inventory screens on supporting devices.

Guerrilla Games managing director Hermen Hulst was up next to announce Killzone Shadowfall, the next entry in PlayStation's flagship FPS series, for PS4 with a debut gameplay trailer.

Another new announcement was action platformer Knack, which is in development at Sony Japan Studio.

That was followed Sucker Punch's Infamous Second Son. The demo showed a heavily-militarised city where citizens are closely monitored. However, people have started developing superpowers and revolting against big brother. There was no sign of series protagonist Cole.

Braid creator Jonathan Blow also came on stage to announce that open world puzzle game The Witness will launch on PS4 as a timed exclusive.

MotorStorm developer Evolution Studios then unveiled Drive Club for PS4. The next-gen racer will focus on team-based online racing and will link to a companion app on smartphones and tablets, allowing players to have "24/7 untethered access to their club".

Sony told us it's planning for Killzone Shadow Fall and Drive Club to be PS4 launch games later this year.
Street Fighter producer Yoshinori Ono appeared on stage to demo Capcom's new engine, Panta Rhei, which is being used to develop a new IP for PS4 called Deep Down.

Meanwhile, Final Fantasy brand director Shinji Hashimoto said Square Enix is developing a new entry in the series for PS4 using its next-gen Luminous engine, which it plans to show off at this year's E3 in June.
Blizzard's senior vice president of story and franchise development then revealed that Diablo 3 will launch on PS3 and PS4, with more details to be revealed in the coming months.

Bungie also offered a brief glimpse of Destiny, which will launch on PS3 and PS4 as well as other consoles, before confirming that the studio will be developing unspecified PlayStation exclusive content for the shooter.
Ubisoft showed off a new Watch Dogs gameplay demo and confirmed that the title will be available for PS4 at launch.

Rounding things off, Media Molecule presented a PS Move PS4 tech demo, and a Quantic Dream PS4 tech demo showed off the Heavy Rain developer's "completely new engine".
